Hotstuff is one margin account to trade, earn, and bank, designed for retail users outside the United States. The platform is built around a unified account model where a user opens and funds a single account, and the same balance can be used across perpetual futures, spot markets, tokenized real-world assets (RWAs), stablecoins, cards, and local payment rails.

Under the hood, Hotstuff runs on a purpose-built Layer 1 powered by DracoBFT, a consensus mechanism designed for low-latency financial applications. Validators on Hotstuff perform functions beyond block production. In addition to participating in consensus, they coordinate execution, liquidity routing, fiat access, compliance workflows, and last-mile money movement around a single user account.

This architecture allows the network to operate as financial infrastructure rather than only a settlement layer. The result is a system where trading, asset custody, payments, and fiat connectivity can be integrated into a unified account experience for non-US retail users.
